About me

I am a qualified counsellor and hold a level 5 Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I am a registered and an accredited member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP( Accredited).

After a house move in the Summer of 2022 & some serious consideration to my own circumstances- I decided to run my practice on-line or over the phone. I no longer offer face to face sessions.

I made the decision to name my practice 'Olive Branch' as this is universally known as offering hope of a 'reconciliation' and 'peace' within conflict. We can be in conflict with another in relationship or often that conflict or battle can be within ourselves. I see counselling as an opportunity to settle or reconcile not only our relational issues but to also reconcile our inner conflict that inhibit our daily living that often brings much sadness and turmoil.

I have considerable experience working within Pastoral Care and have also worked for Cruse Bereavement Care for a number of years and gained specific knowledge and experience working through the issues of 'grief and loss'.

I work using a person-centred, integrative approach and believe that any sustainable benefit is helped by establishing a genuine, accepting and warm counselling relationship.

I receive regular supervision which offers professional accountability and continue to seek opportunities of further training and learning to extend areas of knowledge that will benefit my practice.
